As an indie author I ve had trouble getting reviews for my books and stories And I ve spent lots of time beating myself up about it too But Rayne Hall s Getting Book Reviews Easy Ethical Strategies for Authors gave me lots of ideas of how to proceed in the future I found the first and the last chapters especially helpful Even before I read this entry in Ms Hall s Writer s Craft series I ve added little notes at the end of my pubs encouraging readers to review the work they ve just read But now I plan on lengthening the letter to include a request for readers to email me in case they noted any typos in addition to asking for reviews In the last chapter sixteen authors writing and publishing in various genres present what methods have helped them get reviews It cheered me up to find out that getting reviews isn t just hard for me Most indie authors have to work hard at it but with persistence and resourcefulness they succeed So I highly recommend this book to all of you indie authors out there who want reviews Kindle Edition 5 stars Is this title ONLY for authors Primarily yes I have to admit I found these humorous to read.
